Drainage & Property Upgrade

Craigleith Drive – Quality Work Speaks for Itself

This project started with a serious functional issue: the pool area was dealing with water problems that made the space difficult to use and maintain. Our solution was to completely rethink the grading, retaining, and surface layout around the home so water could be properly directed away from the structure and surrounding outdoor areas.

We installed retaining walls and new interlocking surfaces with careful slope control to help prevent future leaks, improve drainage performance, and replace the old concrete with a cleaner, more modern design. The upgraded layout not only solved the technical issue, but also transformed the backyard into a more polished and functional living space.

While the project was underway, the neighboring homeowner saw the level of craftsmanship and asked for the same treatment. That led to a second full upgrade — including interlocking, retaining walls, steps, and front entrance improvements — turning this job into a standout street-wide transformation driven entirely by the quality of the work.

Our Process

01

Problem Assessment

We evaluated the existing grade, water flow, and failing surfaces to identify why the pool area was holding water and creating long-term risk.

02

Removal & Reshaping

Old concrete was removed and the surrounding areas were reshaped to create a stronger foundation and proper slope direction around the property.

03

Retaining & Interlocking

Retaining walls and interlocking stone were installed with careful leveling to improve performance, appearance, and long-term functionality.

04

Expanded Transformation

The successful first project led directly to a second home upgrade, where matching hardscape improvements completed a broader neighborhood transformation.
